Yemeni riyal records new low against foreign currencies in southern provinces

SANAA, May 01 (YPA) – The exchange rate of the US dollar in the city of Aden and the southern and eastern provinces of Yemen hit a new high a new rise on Tuesday, reaching 1,699 riyals, banking sources reported.

The sources added that the Saudi riyal exchange rate in Aden ranged between 445 and 447 Yemeni riyals.

Meanwhile, the dollar exchange rate in Sanaa and provinces under Supreme Political Council control remained stable at 531 riyals and the Saudi riyal between 140 and 140.20 Yemeni riyals.
