Universities students in Lebanon demonstrate in solidarity with Palestine

BEIRUT, April 30 (YPA) – Hundreds of university students in Lebanon demonstrated on Tuesday in solidarity with Palestine and the people of the Gaza Strip, and against the genocide being committed against them.

The students carried out their demonstrations at several universities, most notably the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese American University, the Beirut Arab University and the Lebanese International University.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian and Lebanese flags, along with paintings and drawings with slogans denouncing the genocide in Gaza and in solidarity with Palestine.

The participants chanted slogans, most notably “Death to America, Death to Israel”.

The demonstrations come within the framework of solidarity with the student movement, which began in the United States of America recently, and witnessed repression of students by the police.
