UNRWA: Reports of the death of at least two children due to heat in Gaza

GAZA, April 28 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Sunday that it had received reports of the death of at least two children due to the heat wave in the Gaza Strip.

The agency pointed out in a statement on its account on the X platform that children are paying the greatest price, calling for an immediate ceasefire.

It stressed that the displaced people in Gaza receive only one liter of water per day on average, which is much less than the daily minimum of 15 liters according to international standards.
