Seller assassinated by gunmen in Ataq

SHABWA, April 28 (YPA) – A citizen was assassinated on Sunday in the center of the city of Ataq, the provincial capital of Shabwa, which is under the control of the coalition.

Local sources in the city confirmed that one of “Qat” sellers was shot by gunmen believed to belong to so-called the UAE-affiliated Shabwa Defense Forces in the city.

The sources explained that the citizens tried to transfer the killed to a hospital, but he died, while the gunmen fled amid a state of security chaos that has been witnessed in the Shabwa districts since 2016.
