In video: UAE-backed STC practices blackmail against merchants inside Aden

ADEN, April 28 (YPA) – One of merchant in Aden city, south of Yemen, threatened to reveal the secrets of the most senior leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces after he was threatened with death.

Anis Al-Yafei, who trades in building materials, said in a video posting on social media that he was threatened with death and the closing of his shop from those close to the commander of the STC’s intervention unit.

He stated that the STC forces have practiced blackmail on merchants inside Aden, threatened the leadership of the STC to reveal more secrets if they continued to blackmail.
