SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology on Sunday expected partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with rainfall on several Yemeni provinces.
In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that rainfall of varying intensity would prevail over parts of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, North Abyan, Dhalea, Lahj, Dhamar, Bayda, Mahweet, Rayma and Sanaa.
It expected also that scattered rain, possibly interspersed with thunderstorm, in parts of Amran, Hajjah, Saada, Jawf, Marib, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout.
The center pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas is partly cloudy to cloudy, especially on the Socotra Archipelago, with active winds reaching a maximum speed of 27 knots on the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden.
It warned citizens in areas where rain is expected to take away from paths of the flow of torrents in the reefs and valleys.
