Students at US universities: Our sit-in continues until university withdraws its investments from Israel

WORLD, April 27 (YPA) – Students participating in the sit-in at Columbia University in the United States announced that “their sit-in will continue until the university withdraws its investments from Israel,” in protests supporting Gaza in the wake of the Zionist war.

In a statement issued on Friday evening, the students said, “The university has threatened us with summoning the National Guard to break up our sit-in.

“We want the university administration to completely divest from Israel,” the statement read.

Protests at several American universities have seen tensions rise following the suppression of these protests by the American police in several areas.
