Three death cases of cholera reported in Taiz

TAIZ, April 19 (YPA) – Three deaths and 300 new infected cases of cholera were recorded in the city of Taiz, medical sources reported on Friday.

German Press Agency quoted officials at the health bureau as saying that health authorities had monitored death and infected cases of cholera since the beginning of this year.

Last Monday, the local authorities in Taiz announced taking preventive measures to reduce cholera in coordination with the various concerned authorities and joining efforts to intensify awareness campaigns about the epidemic and its prevention.
