Meteor lights up night sky over Hadramout coast

HADRAMOUT, April 04 (YPA) – A meteor lit up the night sky over parts of Hadramout, eastern Yemen. During the past hours, residents were surprised by the burning of a “large meteor” as it entered the atmosphere in the Hadramout’s districts.

Eyewitnesses reported being startled by the emission of a radiant green light that covered the sky of the coastal districts early on Wednesday, speculating that the light was the result of a meteor burning as it fell into the waters of the Arabian Sea.

Activists posted photos they claimed showed the emitted light in the sky of Hadramout resembling the color of lightning. So far, no clarification from the relevant authorities has been made.
