STC gunmen abduct citizen in Aden

ADEN, March 31 (YPA) -Gunmen affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions abducted a citizen from Taiz province in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden and took him to an unknown location.

Informed sources in the city reported that the STC’s elements kidnapped the citizen Hamid Ghaleb Farhan Al-Sharabi from his home in the Mansoura area on Friday.

They clarified that the gunmen onboard a military vehicle and abducted Al-Sharabi without any legal justification.

Sources indicated that Al-Sharabi’s family filed a police report to the authorities affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition about the kidnapping incident.

The fate of Al-Sharabi is still unknown yet.

The STC’s elements are carrying out regional abduction campaigns against citizens from Taiz, amid continued incitement against them due to the sharp dispute between “Rashad Al-Alimi,” who belongs to Taiz, and “Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the head of the STC.
