HADRAMOUT, March 21 (YPA) – A Yemeni fisherman was killed by gunfire off the coast of the city of Mukalla, the center of Hadramout province, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition in eastern Yemen.
Local sources said on Thursday, “An armed gang believed to belong to the UAE-backed factions opened fire on the fisherman, Omar Nasser Al-Amoudi, on Tuesday, killing him on the spot.”
The sources added that the gunmen seized the boat of Al-Amoudi, who lives in the Khalaf area of Mukalla.
Fishermen are suffering from the spread of armed gangs that carry out acts of piracy and plunder fishermen in the Mukalla Sea.
