UAE-backed transitional elements storm leader loyal to Islah in Abyan

ABYAN, March 20 (YPA) – The UAE-backed factions stormed on Tuesday the house of a military leader from the sons of Abyan province loyal to Islah in the city of Aden in southern Yemen.

Human rights sources said that elements of the “Security Belt” funded by the UAE broke into the home of the former commander of the “115 Brigade”, Ali Haidara Al-Hanashi without any legal justification.

The sources pointed out that the transitional elements led by Jalal al-Rabiaie tampered with the contents of the house and looted valuables under the pretext that Al-Hanashi’s son is wanted for transitional elements without his presence at home.

In a statement, the Abyan tribes considered the storming incident as targeting the Hanashi leader and all the sons of Abyan province, and the statement demanded the release of Hanashi’s son and the return of the loot.
