Yemeni riyal continues to fall against foreign currency in southern provinces
SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal witnessed on Monday a new decline against the foreign currency in Aden and the southern and eastern provinces controlled by the Saudi-led coalition.
According to financial sources, the US dollar exchange rate hit 1,670 riyals, while the Saudi riyal traded for 439 Yemeni riyals.
The sources explained that the exchange rate of the dollar in Sanaa and the provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council remained stable at 529 riyals to the dollar and 140 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
