Thousands of people rally in Geneva to support Palestinian people

GENEVA, March 16 (YPA) – Thousands of people in the Switzerland’s city of Geneva participated in a demonstration on Saturday for solidarity with the Palestinian people.

in the demonstration, the demonstrators raised banners in English, French and Arabic expressing support for Palestine, chanting slogans against the Israeli occupation entity raising Palestinian flags.

The protesters demanded an end to the “genocidal war” committed by the Israeli occupying entity in the Gaza Strip, and the declaration of an immediate ceasefire.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has killed tens of thousands of civilian, most of them children and women, according to Palestinian and UN data, which led to its appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing “genocide.”
