Woman injured in Aden shooting

ADEN, March 14 (YPA) – A woman was injured on Thursday in an armed attack after being robbed in the coalition-held city of Aden, in southern Yemen.

Medical sources in the city said that gunmen stole a woman’s bag by force of arms after she boarded a bus in al-Khadhra City.

The sources indicated that the gunmen believed to belong to the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions opened fire on the woman, who was seriously injured in her foot after being robbed.

They explained that the gunmen left the woman on the side of the road bleeding until she was transported to a hospital to receive treatment.
