South Africa intends to arrest its citizens who serve in Israeli army upon their return

CAPE TOWN, March 14 (YPA) – South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor announced on Thursday that her country will arrest dual nationals who serve in the Israeli occupation army upon their return to the country.

The Israeli website “i24” reported statements made by Pandor at the African National Conference in Solidarity with Palestine, in which she said,” “I have already issued a statement warning those in South Africa who are fighting alongside or in the ranks of the Israeli army forces; we are ready for you when you return home; we will arrest you.”

Pandor stressed during the conference that “this step to support the Palestinians is not because of the upcoming elections,” noting that “the Palestinian people and South Africa have been together in the struggle for many decades.”

Pandor called on South African citizens to protest in front of the embassies of countries that support the Zionist entity and also called on them to boycott the Israeli airline “El Al.”
