Yemen’s naval forces attack Israeli, US ships
SANAA, March 04 (YPA) – Yemen’s naval forces of the armed forces carried out on Monday a military operation against an Israeli ship ‘MSC SKY’ in the Arabian Sea.
Military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said in a news statement that the Israeli ship was accurately targeted with a number of suitable naval missiles.
The spokesman affirmed that the operation came only hours after the missile force and the unmanned air force attacked a number of enemy American warships with several ballistic missiles and drones at the Red Sea.
“The Yemeni armed forces confirm that they will continue to prevent Israeli navigation or those bound to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted,” he added.
The spokesman stressed the armed forces will not hesitate to carry out more military operations in the Red and Arabian Seas against all hostile targets in defense of Yemen and also in triumph and support of the oppressed Palestinian people.
He noted that the Yemeni armed forces have the ability to target warships and non-warships simultaneously, and that their operations are escalating and continuing in the Red and Arabian Seas, the Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab Strait.
