Islah militants loot large amount of medicine in Taiz

TAIZ, March 03 (YPA) – A number of gunmen in the coalition factions looted a large quantity of smuggled medicine that was scheduled to be destroyed in the city of Taiz.

Local sources in the city confirmed that the gunmen believed to belong to the Islah Party factions on board 5 military vehicles stormed the headquarters of the Medicines Authority and transported a large quantity of smuggled medicines at one of the security points in the Al-Aqroudh area.

The sources added that the gunmen transported the medicines on board military vehicles in a random manner and took them to an unknown destination.

The armed raid created a state of panic and terror among the employees of the Medicines Authority and citizens.
