OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 18 (YPA) – It is expected that the Zionist Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to reveal the army’s strategy for the attack on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip before the government next week, Hebrew media reported.
According to reports, the plan includes transferring Palestinians from Rafah to central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip, while imposing restrictions on movement to northern areas.
The announcement comes after statements made by War Cabinet member Benny Gantz, calling for the continuation of the conflict and the possibility of expanding it to Rafah if Israeli prisoners held in Gaza are not released.
Israeli authorities insist that Rafah, which is home to more than 1.4 million displaced Palestinians, has been classified as a “safe zone” despite its high population density.
Since the October 7th attack, the Zionist entity has escalated its military campaign in the Gaza Strip, resulting in significant casualties and widespread destruction.
