Biden warns Netanyahu against launching military operation in Rafah

WASHINGTON, Feb. 16 (YPA) – US President Joe Biden has confirmed his position on the Israeli occupation forces launching a large-scale military operation in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Biden emphasized the need for a reliable and implementable plan to ensure civilian security in Rafah during a military operation, as stated in the White House statement.

He warned, during a phone call with the head of the occupation government entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, against launching an operation in the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip without a plan to preserve the safety of civilians, according to the statement.

This comes while the occupation is still threatening to storm Rafah and says that it plans to launch a “precise military operation” there.
