RIYADH, Feb. 14 (YPA) – An officer in the Saudi Royal Air Force has announced his defection from the Saudi regime in protest against Al Saud’s continued policy of insulting the Islamic religion, addressing an important message to the Saudi people.
First Lieutenant Salem Nasser Al-Qahtani confirmed, in a video he posted on the “X” platform, that his defection from the Saudi regime was due to the deteriorating economic conditions of citizens and the Saudi army, the continued fight against the Islamic religion, and the lack of basic freedoms and human rights in the Kingdom.
Al-Qahtani explained that cursing “Allah Almighty and insulting religion in Saudi Arabia has become a normal thing, as billions have been spent on concerts presented to the Saudi people without any real value.”
