Sanaa warns Zionist entity of Yemen major response to its attacks in Rafah

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Sanaa-based ministry of foreign affairs warned on Tuesday the Zionist entity of a major escalation in the Yemeni response to its attacks in Rafah city of Gaza.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed that the aggression against Rafah means moving the military scene to developed and more painful levels for Tel Aviv.

It condemned the international silence towards the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza, which are escalating daily, the latest of which is the threat to commit a massacre against the displaced people in the city of Rafah.

The statement considered the massacres and genocidal war committed by the Zionist entity to be a blatant violation and challenge to the international legal system, especially international humanitarian law, the purposes of the United Nations Charter, and the decisions of the International Court of Justice, which will plunge the world into legal chaos and ignite wars in different regions of the world.

It stressed the steadfastness of Sanaa’s humanitarian and moral position in support of the Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and its continued imposition of the naval blockade on the Zionist entity and targeting its military capabilities and installations until the aggression is stopped on the Gaza Strip, and humanitarian aid from food, medicine and fuel are entered without any obstacles.
The ministry’s statement also affirmed freedom of international maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, excepting Zionist ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports.
The statement called on the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the free people of the world, to take a strong humanitarian and moral stance to pressure the countries supporting the Zionist entity to stop their unlimited military, political, material, and logistical support, in light of the continued failure of the Security Council to carry out its responsibilities.
