Euro-Med: 15 days after ICJ decision, “Israel” continues genocide in Gaza

GENEVA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported on Saturday that Israel continues to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza Strip, despite the International Court of Justice (ICJ)’s decision obligating Israel to prevent such acts.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor indicated in a statement that the Israeli army continues to carry out systematic and widespread destruction of areas, residential neighborhoods, civilian infrastructure, and its facilities, which has made most of the Strip a de facto uninhabitable place.

The Euro-Med said that it documented the Israeli army’s killing of more than 1,864 Palestinians, including 690 children and 441 women, in addition to more than 2,933 injuries since the court’s decision was issued, which brings the number of deaths from the ongoing attack since October 7 to 35,880, including 13,880 children and 7,910 women.

Thus, Israel continues to violate its international obligations and the decision of the highest court in the world by committing grave violations, genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians, entirely in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Euro-Med statement, the Israeli army blew up at least 43 residential squares during this period, each square containing between 20 and 50 houses, especially in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and continued to bomb and destroy houses despite the end of its military operations there weeks ago.
