3 military personnel killed in helicopter crash in west of Algeria

SANAA, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Three military personnel were killed on Wednesday in a military helicopter crash in southern Algeria.

The Algerian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that three people were killed in the crash of a military helicopter on the outskirts of the airport “Al-Manea” in the fourth military area, pointing out that during a night training sortie, a MI-171 military combat helicopter belonging to the Air Force Command fell on the outskirts of the airport, resulting in the death of its crew.

The chief of staff of the Algerian army, Al-Said Chenqriha, ordered an investigation to find out the causes and circumstances of the incident.
