UN Secretary-General warns of “Israeli” attack on Rafah

NEW YORK, Feb. 08 (YPA) – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has warned of “incalculable regional repercussions” of a possible ground attack by the Israeli occupation forces on the city of Rafah, where there are hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip on the border with Egypt.

Guterres said, “Such an action will dramatically increase what is already a humanitarian nightmare,” reiterating his demand for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” and the release of all prisoners.
