Hamas delivers its response regarding prisoner exchange deal
GAZA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Hamas Movement said on Tuesday that it has recently handed over its response regarding the framework agreement about a prisoner exchange deal to the Qatari and Egyptian sides.
Hamas affirmed in a news statement that the response came after completing leadership consultations in the movement with Palestine’s resistance factions.
The statement stated the movement dealt with the proposal in a positive spirit, including a comprehensive and complete ceasefire, ending the aggression against the Palestinian people, ensuring relief, shelter, and reconstruction, lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip, and completing a prisoner exchange.
The movement’s statement appreciated the role made by Egypt and Qatar and all countries seeking to stop the brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
It saluted the Palestinian people and their legendary steadfastness and valiant resistance, especially in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the movement and all national forces and factions will continue to defend the Palestinian people on the path to ending the occupation and realizing their legitimate national rights to its land and sanctities.
