PARIS, Feb. 04 (YPA) – France’s Foreign Ministry condemns on Sunday the Zionist calls to displace the population of the Gaza Strip.
Deputy spokesman for the ministry, Christophe Lemoyne, said in a statement the statements of the Zionist Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, and the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, which called for the displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip, constitutes a serious violation of international law, the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute.
“We call on Israel to refrain from such inflammatory statements, which are considered irresponsible and incite tensions,” Lemoyne.
He added: “The future of the Gaza Strip and its residents lies in the establishment of a unified Palestinian state that lives in security and peace alongside “Israel.”
The far-right Zionist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, called for the return of Jewish settlers to the Gaza Strip after the end of the war and for “encouraging” the Palestinian population to immigrate, after a similar call issued by the Zionist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
