Yemeni armed forces target British merchant ship in Red Sea

SANAA, Feb.01 (YPA) – The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted on Thursday a British merchant ship in the Red Sea that was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine with suitable naval missiles.

The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, explained that the operation comes as part of support for the oppressed Palestinian people and within the response to the US-British aggression against Yemen.

He stressed that the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the Arabian Sea and Red Sea against Israeli navigation or ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine would continue until the aggression against the Gaza Strip stops and the siege on it is lifted.
