STC announces coup against pro-coalition government in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – The UAE’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced on Wednesday the official coup against the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the city of Aden.

In its meeting, the General Secretariat of the STC called for the formation of a so-called “government of competencies that contribute to improving the economic and service situation,” indicating that the government headed by Moeen Abdulmalik is waging an economic and service war on citizens.

The STC secretariat rejected the return of the pro-coalition government to Aden, accusing it of carrying out crimes against the people of the southern provinces.
