Yemeni armed forces to put painful end to American dominance: Defense Minister

HODEIDA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Yemen’s Minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, confirmed on Tuesday the Yemeni armed forces are the ones putting the painful end to American hegemony.

During an extraordinary meeting, which was held with the commanders of the naval and coastal defense forces in Hodeida province, Al-Atefi said that Yemen’s leadership, government, people, army and geography are stronger and more severe than being shaken by the criminal raids of the American-British-Zionist aggression.

He affirmed that the continuation of the treacherous American-British aggression is a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and destabilizes the security and stability of the region.”

“The forces of aggression are unaware that the Yemeni people and the armed forces will not be intimidated by America’s internationally banned missiles and bombs from carrying out their duties towards what the Palestinian people and their resistance are exposed to,” the minister stated.

“The American administration is tampering with the international value system through the standards it sets to serve its political caprice,” he added. “The American regime’s designation of the positions of the Yemeni people in support of Gaza as terrorism is ridiculous.”

The minister Al-Atefi indicated that the Americans and the Zionists are always a symbol of chaos, destruction, tampering, murder, and international terrorism. They are actual destroyers of security, safety, and stability, and do not believe in peace.

He announced that the strategy of taking retaliation and punishment on the attacks of Washington and London is coming, indicating that the leader of the revaluation, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, is aware of the nature of the challenges and consequences of closing the Red and Arab Seas to the Zionists.

He noted that the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council have taken all carefully considered steps for a long-term confrontation with the forces of tyranny.

Al-Atefi stressed the Yemeni armed forces will not allow the Red and Arab Seas to be an artery that feeds the brutality and crime of the Zionists against the people in Palestine,” reiterating that navigation in the Red and Arab Seas to all destinations around the world is secure and stable to and ship movement.

He also stressed that the responsibility for securing the Red Sea legally, militarily and politically lies with the states and countries bordering the Red Sea, most notably Yemen.
The minister added that the Yemeni armed forces have completed fundamental modifications and major evaluations of the naval rules of engagement.
