Israeli Minister: We circumvent Yemen attacks by transporting goods through UAE
OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Israeli entity’s Minister of Transportation, Miri Regev, revealed on Monday evening that work is underway to establish “an axis to transport goods from India through the UAE and from there to the Israeli occupation to circumvent Yemen’s attacks in the Red Sea.”
Regev stated, in a statement published on the X platform, “I have established professional teams that will work to enable land transportation of goods from Abu Dhabi to Israel.”
She explained that land transportation of goods would shorten the time by 12 days and significantly reduce the current waiting time due to the Yemeni problem.
In solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to brutal Israeli aggression with American support since October 7, 2023, Yemen has been targeting commercial ships heading to Israel in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, which has led to a decline in international navigation through Bab al-Mandab.
