Israeli occupation confirms two more of its troops killed in Gaza battles

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Israeli Occupation army confirmed on Wednesday evening the killing of two of its soldiers in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army said in a statement allowed for publication that Sergeant Oriya Aymelek Goshen, 21, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the Givati ​​patrol, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

Major (ret.) Anwar Sarhan, 26, from Horfis, a fighter in the 910 Battalion in the Regional Brigade Etzion, fell in an operational car accident in the center of the country, the statement added.

In addition, in the battle in which the late Sergeant Uriah Aymelek Goshen fell, a fighter and a fighter officer in the Givat patrol were seriously injured, according to the statement.

In the road accident in which the late Major (Ret.) Anwar Sarkhan fell, a reserve fighter in the 910 Battalion, Etzion Regional Brigade, was seriously injured.

The death toll of Israeli Occupation soldiers and officers has risen to 529 since the start of the Palestinian resistance’s Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 last year.
