ALEPPO, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Four loud explosions were reportedly heard at dawn on Tuesday in the city of Aleppo in northern Syria, The Syrian newspaper Al-Watan reported.
According to Sham FM Radio, the explosions occurred on the southeastern outskirts of the city and were being confirmed.
Al-Watan newspaper also confirmed that Aleppo International Airport is operating as usual and has not been subjected to any aggression.
Since the beginning of this year, the Israeli Occupation Air Force put the international airport in the Syrian capital out of service twice and in Aleppo three times, as a result of which humanitarian aid supplies have been temporarily transported through the airlift for the population affected by the February 6, 2023 earthquake, to Latakia airport.
