Abu Ubaidah: Fate of many Israeli prisoners has become unknown

GAZA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Abu Ubaidah, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, said that the fate of many Israeli occupation prisoners in Gaza has become unknown during the past few weeks.
This came in a speech by Abu Ubaidah, which is the first televised speech since November 23, 2023, and 100 days after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Abu Ubaidah added, “While the rest (of the prisoners) have all entered the tunnel of the unknown due to the Zionist aggression.”
He continued, “Most likely, many of them will have been killed recently, while the rest are still in imminent and dangerous danger every hour.”
Abu Ubaidah stressed that “the enemy’s leadership and army bear all responsibility for this file,” adding that “the enemy failed to achieve its goals or free any captive.”
On Saturday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the loss of contact with a cell responsible for four Israeli prisoners who were detained in the Gaza Strip in 2014.
