Nasrallah: Recent US-British aggression against Yemen is foolish, harms Red Sea navigation security

BEIRUT, Jan. 14 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said on Sunday that the recent aggression against Yemen represents “American and British foolishness and an American contradiction.”

Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Sunday evening: “While the Americans call for not expanding the war, they are expanding it.”

He pointed out that if the Americans believe that Yemen will retreat after the aggression, they are “wrong, suspicious, and ignorant.”

Hezbollah’s Secretary-General emphasized that “the American aggression will lead to the continued targeting of Israeli ships and those bound for the Zionist occupying entity.”

He also stressed that the Yemeni response is decided by the Yemenis and that US President Joe Biden and his administration are wrong in sending messages to and threatening Iran regarding Yemen.

“America and many Western countries worked over a period of 100 days to silence, subjugate, and frustrate the other fronts,” Nasrallah added.
