Euro-Med provides documents to South Africa on most prominent mass graves in Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 11 (YPA) – The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has submitted an initial information memorandum to the South African legal team and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, examining the prominent mass graves established in the Gaza Strip during the genocide crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces since October 7th.

Euro-Med has submitted additional information to the South African legal team before the International Court of Justice regarding mass killings, health sector targeting, and genocide results in the Gaza Strip, following South Africa’s lawsuit against the Zionist occupation.

At the beginning of this month, Euro-Med announced the documentation of testimonies of torture and cruel treatment of detainees from the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation army.

Last December, the Euro-Med documented the establishment of more than 120 random mass graves in the governorates of the Gaza Strip to bury the martyrs of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

According to the Euro-Med, “people in the Gaza Strip have resorted to creating random mass graves in residential neighbourhoods, house courtyards, roads, wedding halls, and sports stadiums, in light of the difficulty of accessing the main and regular graves.”

The Euro-Med received testimonies about Israeli army forces carrying out unjustified field executions and killings against Palestinian civilians after detaining them for days inside schools to which they had sought refuge.
