Saudi Arabia, US discuss steps to normalize with Zionist entity

RIYADH, Jan. 09 (YPA) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed on Monday that he discussed in Saudi Arabia the issue of normalization with the Zionist entity and coordinating efforts for the post-war phase in Gaza.

This came during his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in his winter tent on the outskirts of the city of AlUla of Medina province.

Before boarding the plane to head to occupied Palestine, Blinken said that regarding normalization, “we actually talked about that at every tour in the Middle East, including of course here in Saudi Arabia.”

He added, “There is a clear interest here in pursuing that, but it will require ending the conflict in Gaza.”

On Monday, Blinken arrived in Tel Aviv to hold discussions with Israeli officials regarding what is happening in Gaza.
