Defense Minister vows harsh response to US attacks on Yemeni naval forces in Red Sea

SANAA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – The Minister of Defense of the Sanaa government, Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atifi, on Thursday threatened America with a harsh response to its attacks on the Yemeni naval forces in the Red Sea.

In today’s meeting, which included the leadership of the Fifth Military Region and the military divisions and specializations in the region, Major General Al-Atifi announced that “Yemeni armed forces will respond harshly to the American attack on naval forces, using combat methods exceeding America’s military calculations.”

Major General Al-Atifi confirmed that the Red Sea has turned into a trap for the Zionists and those who support them, and their siege is in place until they abandon their siege and crimes against the Palestinian people.
