Official in Gaza says Israeli occupation army stole organs of 80 Palestinians, demanding int’l probe

GAZA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – The Gaza Government Media Office has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation army’s desecration of the bodies of 80 Palestinians and the theft of their organs during its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

The office stated in a statement on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army had previously stolen the bodies of Palestinian martyrs during the war and had mutilated them before handing them for burial in Rafah.

The statement added that unidentified bodies were handed over without specific names or locations, indicating that the occupation army had stolen vital organs.

The office called for an independent international investigation committee to investigate the kidnapping of the martyrs’ bodies and the theft of their organs.

According to the government media office, the occupation army previously exhumed graves in Jabalia and stole some of the bodies of martyrs from them, in addition to the fact that it still has dozens of bodies of martyrs from the Gaza Strip.”

Last November, doctors and wounded people at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported that the Israeli army attacked medical staff, arrested patients, and stole bodies while besieging the hospital.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor called for the formation of an independent international investigation committee into the Israeli army’s detention of the bodies of dozens of Palestinians killed during its war on the Gaza Strip and on suspicions of the theft of organs from them.
