Al-Houthi: US warships target commercial ships in Red Sea

SANAA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, revealed on Sunday that American warships targeted commercial ships under the justification of shooting down a reconnaissance plane in the Red Sea.

“American battleships are threatening international navigation in order to protect Israeli ships and allow Israeli forces to continue committing crimes and massacres against Gaza people without disturbance,” Al-Houthi said in a post on “X.”.

He added: “The ideal solution is the return of these barges to American territorial waters to defend America’s goals of controlling other areas of influence disputed with some permanent members of the Security Council instead of failed adventures to fight ghosts and windmills in the Red Sea.”
