GAZA, Dec. 24 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army withdrew from Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian and Hebrew media said on Sunday.
The Hebrew newspaper “Israel Today” reported, quoting a security official, that the reason for reducing the frequency of air strikes is not pressure from Washington but rather the fear of harming soldiers and detainees in the Gaza Strip.
The Hebrew “12” Channel indicated that the occupation army described the end of the last week as the toughest since the beginning of the war, after 14 of its soldiers were killed.
The Israeli occupation continues its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip for the seventy-ninth day in a row, with air and artillery bombardment, while its forces penetrate various areas of the Strip.
