Meteorology alerts residents of cold, dry weather in coming hours

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning in Sanaa alerted on Thursday residents, especially the elderly, the sick people, children, workers and farmers, of the effects of the cold and dry weather.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that a cold wave, with dry and clear weather, may target the mountainous highlands in the provinces Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and parts of Ibb and Dhalea.

It stated the weather will be relatively cold in the highlands of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and west of both Marib and Jawf), with the possibility of water rusk forming in parts of the highlands of Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Mahweet and Hajjah.
