Leader of Yemeni Revolution affirms American move aims to militarize Red Sea

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, confirmed on Wednesday that the American move is not a move to protect international navigation in Bab al-Mandab, but rather represents dangerous American efforts to militarize the Red Sea.

This came in his speech made to pass the 75th day of the Zionist aggression on Gaza.
“The one who threatens the maritime navigation of all states and countries is the American, for the sake of the Israeli enemy and to serve Israel,” he added.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik said that America is participating with the occupation army in the aggression against Gaza with its experts and advisors, and that Washington is supplying the occupation with fighters and internationally banned weapons, including white phosphorus.

The leader Al-Houthi explained that Yemen’s operations at the Red Sea do not target any other ships and do not harm international navigation, stressing they exclusively are targeting the Israeli enemy within the framework of supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.

Sayyed Al-Houthi continue, “Whoever moves with the Americans and involves himself in protecting Israeli ships knows that he is providing an exclusive service to Israel and harming international navigation.”

“Our effective and influential position has been prompted by the Israeli enemy that asked its partners in the crimes of genocide to move in the Red Sea to prevent this move,” the leader Abdul-Malik stated, noting that the American, with battleships, was moving from the beginning in the Sea and sought to protect the passing Israeli ships, adding that the United States is now seeking to involve others in this matter.
