Dozens of Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons died under torture

GAZA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Dozens of Palestinian prisoners, who have been arrested from the Gaza Strip recently since the Israeli entity’s ground aggression on the Strip, died in an Israeli occupation army camp, due to the harsh conditions and torture campaigns inside prisons.

Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” said in its report these Palestinian detainees died in the center, and the circumstances of their deaths have not yet been clarified, noting that the prisoners spend most of the daylight hours blindfolded and handcuffed, and the lights remain on throughout the night inside the center.

The newspaper added that the ages of the detainees range from minors to the elderly, and the shackles they are bound allow them limited movement and eating.

With the ground aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation also arrested women and girls in Gaza, and took them to the “Anatot” base near occupied al-Quds, the occupation also arrested more than 500 Palestinian activists from the Gaza Strip, including about 350 from Hamas and 120 from Islamic Jihad.

According to the Israeli newspaper, the detainees at the Sde Teman base are sleeping on thin mattresses on the floor in three detention compounds, and each complex can accommodate about 200 detainees.
