Batch of UAE food shipments arrives in “Israel” by land bridge

AL-QUDS, Dec. 16 (YPA) – A batch of commercial shipments loaded with fresh foodstuffs from Dubai in the UAE arrived in the Israeli occupation entity by the land bridge.

Israeli media outlets reported that the trucks arrived in a successful step of a new land bridge alternative to the Red Sea.

The outlets said that the fresh food shipments coming from the UAE “were transported through the new alternative land bridge to the Red Sea,” explaining that the transport took place through Dubai ports, passing through Saudi Arabia and Jordan to “Israel.”

On the other hand, some Israeli sources indicated that the land bridge experiment from Dubai ports to “Israel” was completed successfully by 10 trucks as a first step.
The sources noted that the distance the trucks traveled was about 2,000 kilometers, in a period estimated at two days and several hours.

At the beginning of this month, Israeli media revealed an agreement to operate a land bridge between the port of Dubai and the occupied port of Haifa has been signed. They also stated that this comes with the goal of overcoming what it considered “the Yemeni threat to close the shipping lanes.”

Earlier, the Israeli Kan TV reported that the UAE is the country most concerned about “Yemen entering the ring of fire,” in addition to the fear in Jordan that the conflict may expand with the entry of Yemeni armed forces in support of the Gaza Strip.
