Al-Houthi responds to US pressure regarding peace in exchange for abandoning Gaza
SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, commented on Tuesday on Washington’s pressure regarding peace in Yemen in exchange for abandoning Gaza.
Al-Houthi stressed in a post on the “X” platform that “if the aggression and siege on Gaza continue and food, medicine, water, etc. do not enter Gaza, no ship belonging to the Zionist entity will pass.”
“We say to the Americans: Bring in food, medicine, water, and other things,” he said, adding, “As long as Gaza is besieged, you will not pass.”

On Tuesday morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the implementation of a military operation against a Norwegian ship that was loaded with oil and heading to the Zionist enemy entity after the ship’s crew rejected all calls and warnings directed at it.
The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, confirmed that the Norwegian ship “Astrinda” was hit with “a suitable naval missile.”
Brigadier General added that the operation comes in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, who are currently being subjected to killing, destruction, and siege in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that the Yemeni armed forces succeeded during the past two days in preventing the passage of several ships that responded to the warnings of the Yemeni naval forces, noting that the Norwegian ship loaded with oil was not targeted except after its crew rejected all warning calls.
The army spokesman reiterated that “the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to target any ship that violates what was stated in the previous statements.”
The Yemeni armed forces confirmed that they would continue to prevent all ships heading to Israeli ports from navigating in the Arab and Red Seas until the needed food and medicines were brought into the Gaza Strip.
