UNICEF says saves life of 16 thousands children in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, July 9 (YPA) – The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday on its Twitter account “It saved the life of 16 thousands children in Hodeidah province during the first half of 2018, who had been suffering from malnutrition.”

” 400 thousands children in various provinces of Yemen suffers from acute malnutrition” the UNICEF added.

According to the World Health Organization, hygiene condition in Hodeidah is the worst in Yemen and people there suffering form the highest rate of malnutrition.

The organization added that escalation of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah worsened the situation further.
