New law issued in Sanaa prohibiting, criminalizing recognition of Zionist enemy entity

SANAA, Dec. 05 (YPA) – The Law No. 4 of 1445 AH was issued on Tuesday prohibiting and criminalizing recognition of the Zionist enemy entity or normalizing relations with it.

The law included fifteen articles distributed into four chapters: – Chapter One: Nomenclature, Definitions, and Objectives, Chapter Two: Enforcement of this Law, Chapter Three: Crimes and Punishments, Chapter Four: General Provisions.
The fifteenth and final article of the law stipulates that it will be effective from the date of its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.

This morning, the President of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, signed the law, which aims to prohibit and criminalize recognition of the Zionist enemy entity occupying the Palestinian territories and other occupied Arab lands, or the normalization with it, as well as preventing the establishment of diplomatic, political, military, economic, cultural, or any other relations with this occupying entity, directly or indirectly.

Following the signing, President Al-Mashat stressed that “normalization with the Israeli enemy entity is a betrayal of the Arab and Islamic nation, Islam, and the peoples, and that the normalization regimes are authentic tools in the context of the Zionist project, and all their actions serve it.”

He pointed out that the law would allow Yemen to move more effectively and officially toward confronting the Zionist entity and supporting the Palestinian people and resistance.
