ADEN, Dec. 04 (YPA) – The US dollar exchange rate on Monday recorded a significant rise against the Yemeni riyal in the city of Aden and the rest of the southern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.
Banking sources in the city confirmed that the trading price for selling the dollar reached 1,545 riyals, with an increase of nine riyals from yesterday evening, Sunday, while the buying price reached 1,535 riyals.
The sources indicated that the Saudi riyal recorded a slight increase, bringing the selling price to 405 riyals, compared to 403.50 riyals.
Meanwhile, the US dollar exchange rate maintained its stability in Sanaa at 529 riyals for sale and 527 riyals for purchase, while the price of the Saudi riyal ranged at 140 riyals.
