Pro-coalition Aden TV director assaulted in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The Aden TV director affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition was assaulted in the middle of a street in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, due to the absence of state authorities since the beginning of 2016.

Private sources confirmed that the Aden media director Najiba Jaafar Mohammed Qassem, “70 years old,” was assaulted on Thursday by one of her neighbors in the Mualla area, inflicting injuries on her face and on the back of her head.

She explained that citizens were able to arrest her neighbor “57- years old man”. She was taken to a hospital for treatment, without revealing the reasons for the attack.

This comes as an extension of the security chaos in Aden, which is controlled by coalition-backed factions amid the absence of state authorities in the city.
